I just installed your CHDK on my SD870 after carefully following the directions. I get the splash screen, but the zoom lens does not extend, and I have a ZoomLensError message on the second information screen. What do I need to do?

First, you can disable CHDK at any time, by unlocking the card or removing it entirely.

On cameras with a play button, CHDK will normally start in play mode, even if you start with the power button. To switch to record, you need to half press the shutter. On most cameras, it will also start in record mode if you hold the power button down for a little while.

If the zoom lens error is in the firmware information screen I wouldn't worry about that as long as the camera is functioning normally. It just reports the last error that the camera encountered. It is unlikely that CHDK caused this.
