Hi All!

Thanks for sharing this, I've successfully installed the CHDK for my ixus 130, however, I couldn't have found any aperture override adjusment, is it because our camera doesn't support this function?

There's no real aperture (adjustable iris diaphragm) in your camera; most of the IXUS series cameras use a ND filter instead to emulate 2 different F stops.
The ND filter can be controlled with CHDK (ON, OFF, AUTO); since the ND filter only reduces the amount of light, you may zoom in / out to influence the physical aperture value (DOF)...

I can concur that bracketing does not work.
I loaded up the "C" firmware build and did the following:
  • Set the camera to continuous mode with a 2 EV difference and +/- set, then set a timer for 3 shots with no time gap between shots. Per the CHDK for Dummies beginners guide.
  • Installed and ran all listed (user contributed) bracketing scripts in the wiki

Nothing worked. In all cases ND filter was OFF. I got the same picture over and over with the same ISO/Exposure/Etc.
Have there been any recent commits by Emlyn, or has the code been merged into the trunk or beta builds? Or has this work stopped.

By the way, thank you for all the hard work you have put in Emlyn!

i Really Need/Want CHDK on my SD1400IS Camera !
CHDK is just so good and so working (seems) so i really, but really wanna try on my point-and-shoot sd1400is camera !
So please, update for this camera ! SD1400IS is not a really professionnal, he's a compact, like the others.
iNeed timelapse and the others  <3<3 love them ! (saw on videos their capalibities and it was amazing just amazing) !
