beautiful sunset !

Was the exposure auto or manual ?

If you were taking one shot per second, what was the exposure after the sun had set ?

thanks!

I shot it in aperture priority mode, Exposure compensation set at 0, does that answer your question. I used Canon 570IS

Almost ...

So, the camera decided the shutter time (and maybe ISO) as the light changed.
If you were shooting every second, the exposure time (even when dark) must have been less than that.

What does the EXIF information for the after-dark images show the shutter-time as ?

yep the camera chooses shutter speed. ISO is set to 100. the thing about this camera when is set in AV the shutter never goes above 1sec no matter how dark. I wish it did tho
