Making time lapse movies in stereo?

Making time lapse movies with my A590 has always been my favourite application of CHDK. Now that I've bought a second A590, I'd like to make anaglyphic time lapse movies. To me, that seems to be a fantastic medium for educational purposes.

However, I can't find the right software to do make these movies. The only possibility seems to built a dual usb cable coupled with an external electronic timer (probably based on a NE555, which will be simple but not very accurate). Is there anyone in this forum who has experience with stereographic time lapse movies and can tell me what is the best solution?

Thanks for your quick reply. I ordered a product for KAP photography some years ago from Gentled and was pleased with the service and quality. Now why did I think of DIY in the first place if I can have a product like this for less than 50 Euros?
