Well, I have just tried it and it works fine.

Try deleting CHDK.CFG and try again.

If it does not work tell me exactly which parameters you have changed to which values.

I figured it out.

The problem is that in the CHDK/PARAMS folder there was a file called 'MD_SDM0.txt'
That was forcing the parameters in set '0' to be set to that file. Once I removed that file, everything works as expected. All parameters are now being saved.
Also I went into the 'MD_SDM.bas' file and set the default parameters to what I wanted to see, pretty much the same as the parameter set '3'.
Now everything is perfect.

How can I every repay you for all your hard work and dedication in helping me acheive my goals?

David, you are the man. :D :D :D :D

The gift of eternal life would be nice .. as long as I do not get bored.

Still trying to get the cut-down version to work.

David

David,

I hereby grant you the gift of eternal life.  8) ??? :lol

To collect you must come to California, USA and bask in our sunshine.

If nothing else, we are now eternal friends.

Thanks again,
Gregg

Well, for my A620 the build is currently 95K.

Problem is, I cannot see any text .. only the coloured background.
I have been trying to fix the problem for two days .. I will continue.

Sounds like a man intent on succeeding :D

Yes, on my fourth attempt it is still working and I can see all the text.

I will continue to nibble-away at it.

It is easier to build than to deconstruct.

Hey, as long as your having fun and learning from it that's all that matters. I'm using what you gave me last week and loving it. It works fantastic.

Well, I have now got the size down to 60K, less than one quarter of the CHDK size on my A620.

The Script title and parameter settings title is not displayed so I just have to fix that.

David

Wow, that's tiny. I bet you didn't think you could get it that small.

I can't wait to test it out.
I'll keep on holding my breath until you post it for testing.

That is really awesome.

Gregg
