It would appear then that I will need to globally turn off games from my CHDK build. What is the best way to do this so that when it is put into the autobuild server it will work.

Yes, I was wondering what you meant when you said that you had turned-off games support.

I guess that you have commented it out in buildconf.inc :-

It is not very satisfactory but whoever manages the TRUNK code could put a #if !defined(CAMERA_sx20) around those options.

Problem is, in my opinion, CHDK is becoming too bloated and some new cameras have very little available memory.

That's how to do it at compile time, for the SX20 source I've put #undef's for each game in camera.h. That way when its built on the autobuild server it won't crash. Bit nasty to have two places where it can be turned off but I think that's how its got to be.
