@Triniart

Use the correct filename extension !

For uBasic scripts use .bas or .txt as extension,
for the Lua scripts from my links from above use .lua !

Also make sure that those scripts start with the
--[[
line (i.e. not with an empty/blank line).
Also make sure there's one empty/blank line at the end of the script;
save the script files as plain text files, use ANSI coding (not UTF).

You could try running the script on a PC or Mac with my Ubasic debugger - see http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/kapstuff/zubdb.html - lets you edit the script as well as run it.

This will only work with uBasic scripts, e.g. with the ones from the CHDK wikia - this does NOT work with the Lua scripts from my links above ;)

Thanks for the info.
Here's what I am doing.
-Copying script from Wiki to TextEdit(Mac), saving as rtf file called mint.lua
-Copying this file to Scripts folder on memory card.
-Load script from file..
-Only 2 settings are shown Shooting interval and sec.... I changed  to 5 secs then
press back and menu to exit to main camera screen.
Press shutter and line 1 error is shown.

Also tried transferring file to pc in notepad.
Unable to create extension .lua and save file to it..so I created a file called
mint.lua.txt first...copied script to it ....then changed extension to mint.lua and
transferred to memory card.
Still getting line 1 error.
Script is exactly as you said with correct spaces etc.

Here's a screen shot of what's on my memory card(8gb sdhc)

mint.lua-file

Saved this file as ANSI windows text first then transferred to memory card as shown.
It's just the mouse curser shown before the -- on line one.

Still getting line one error.

...and here's the third one.

Copy the scripts to your card into the \CHDK\SCRIPTS folder; make sure the filenames are correct, without any additions of stupid operating systems like Mac OS or Windows ( e.g. Mac OS quarantine flags from internet downloads, http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ/Mac#Still_Having_Trouble.3F ).

Scripts are successfully tested with SD400, SD870 & SX10.

What is the differences between these three scripts? Do I need to copy three of them to my SD card to make the intervalometer working?
