Hi everyone
I'm new here, so I'm really sorry if someone had already asked this, but I haven't found answers that I need in previous topics.
Which version of CHDK works fine with this camera?
I would like to know if I should format my memory card before I put CHDK on it.
How can I install basic firmware again, and where can I download it.

Thanks in advance  ;)

Hello & welcome, skyline00 !

Only the one with your camera's real firmware version.

CHDK is just a piece of software, not a real fw update; the camera's original fw will not be changed; removing the CHDK files from your SD card removes CHDK again.

Thanks a lot! :)
Just one more question- how much time does it take to update firmware?
I'm asking this, because, when I tried to update firmware last time, it took more than 5 minutes, and the only thing I could see was black screen on camera, and only on/off button was on...

It's not an update, just loading the CHDK software into the camera's memory - this takes ~ 2 to 5 seconds, you'll see the CHDK boot splash screen for 2-3 seconds, then the camera & CHDK is ready...

-> to switch to record mode, press or half-press the shutter button once !
