Hi All,

I i'am trying to update my SX200 Powershot so i follow the steps from page 10 of the manual.
1: first format the SD card in the camera  = Done
2: copy the files ons the SD card  = done  (with the PS.FI2 file on it)
3: witch on the camera and go to playmode and then menu button  = done

and than ??, i dont get the Firmware update menu  :o
Anyone know's what i do wrong ?, becourse i think i do the steps right ??

Help  :'(

Firmware now is GM 1.00D in de SX200    (firmware 1.0.0.0)
and i download SX200 100D-0.9.9-894-full for the upgrade

UPDATE: (i have a Imac) i did:
cd /Volumes/CANON_DC
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine DISKBOOT.BIN PS.FI2
but stil i dont get Firm update menu  .

Switch on in PLAYBACK mode, the lens must be retracted !

Hi

when is push the playback ( > sign)
the lens reracted in a' minute but stil no "firm update"  menu.

 OEPS: UPDATE:
 yes FIRM UPDATE in display ... its say's from 1.0.0.0 to 1.1.0.0 i say YES then is see somethinge like raw etc..
 But if i look with playbak - func set - down its stil say firmware 1.0.0.0

CHDK doesn't change the firmware.
I suggest to read the FAQ and also User Manual ;)
