Is it possible to compile chdk so it doesn't save a config file. I have a sx110is that seems to crash under circumstances which can be alleviated by deleting the config file. setting the "don't save" config doesn't seem to help. I can't identify yet what is causing it though I suspect it has to do with RAW or DNG setings. For now I just want to prevent the creating and saving of the config file. Another solution perhaps?Dano
Yeah thats exactly whats happening! seems to occur when the settings are saved, usually extended settings such as DNG. and you later restart the camera. As you say goes dead almost immediately and impossible to fix in the field. I can fix by deleting the config file. Bit of a nuisance when out on a shoot to say the least!thanks for any help or suggestions, yes please take a look if you can.Danny
Seems fully working. Can this be integrated into the auto builds please?regards and thanksDanny Raymond
