Testing the D10 with CHDK last weekend but didn't enable in camera DNG conversion (because the bad pixel script is missing and I forgot to go find it first).  I can't find an external converter that works and internal processing only seems to be available if I want JPG output.
You no longer need a script to create badpixel, it's built into the menu.

Is it too late to convert these RAWs to DNGs?
You can probably create a new profile in dng4ps2. latest dcraw might also do it, I haven't checked.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

dcraw 9.06 gives:

Cannot decode file test.crw

Is it easy to create a new profile for dng4ps2, or is there a learning curve?

Hi, I have started the camera in play mode but when I press the set button I get a clock, no matter if I press simultaneously the other DISPLAY button. No info of version.
In any case the option to upgrade the version appear but once that I use it there is no noticeable changes in the menus or anything at all except a message that it has been updated. Using version A or B.
Also I don't understand what is the "shortcut" button that is referenced in the help.

thanks

Do you get the CHDK icon when you power on the camera?  If not, did you remember to enable write protection on the SD card ?

You can't.  You have to enable in-camera DNG conversion. Which is not as fast as you would wish.

Sorry about so many questions but im just in holidays in the beach testing the camera underwater. i only access to internet with my phone and it is not easy to check documentation. do you mean that the raw files must be converted in the phone?. the ones that i have shoot already can be converted? No external programs to convert them? thanks

There are some external programs but I never got them to work. I have no idea if the ones you have can be converted or not. Enable the DNG option in the menus, which will also require you let the camera build a bad pixel map: just select it and leave it alone for a minute whilst it does its thing.

I seem to have missed this the first time around. This post may help http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=6754.0

IIRC that the camera name has to actually match the name in the exif, but I might be mistaken.
