There are some external programs but I never got them to work. I have no idea if the ones you have can be converted or not. Enable the DNG option in the menus, which will also require you let the camera build a bad pixel map: just select it and leave it alone for a minute whilst it does its thing.

is this process set after the shoots are done as some type of batch ptocess or each time a shoot is taken?

Each time. But see the new post from reyalp which might fix offline conversion.

Ok, I think the name thing was me misremembering.

The sensor characteristics can be found in http://tools.assembla.com/chdk/browser/trunk/platform/d10/platform_camera.h

The following seemed to work for me. I copied the ixus 960 and then edited the values. Note that I did not do anything with the color matrix, if you want to convert without having the corresponding jpeg, you'll want that.

Don't forget what the H stands for.

FWIW - i started to collect DNG4PS-2 settings on this wikia page & added the D10 settings as link to the camera's wikia page...

Have others successfully booted from a "dual partition card"?

I got d10-100b-1.1.0-2401-full_BETA running on a 4GB card without problems.

THEN I tried a 8GB card. THe only method to get this particular hardware (an Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB) working was to use Linux, create a 4GB partition in both fdisk and with mkfs.vdos and put CHDK on this.

As soon as I added a second FAT16 partition (just for testing) the camera seems not to boot CHDK from the write-proteced SD.

I just bought the camera in the hope that I could start some construction-time-lapse project with it.

Did you read and follow the instructions here : http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Prepare_your_SD_card#For_Cameras_Released_Before_2011_: ?

and/or here :

http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Using_SDMinste_to_Create_Dual_Partition_SD_cards

Hard to tell what you actually did based on your post but many people have successfully followed these instructions.  Not sure if there are any quirks to Eye-Fi cards and dual partitions though ..

Yes, I did follow those, too (amongst other ways).

As http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Prepare_your_SD_card#For_Cameras_Released_Before_2011_: says
"Not all cameras support dual partitions. Check the wiki page and forum porting thread for your camera before trying to use dual partitions."
I thought the D10 was probably unsupported.

I will try harder then! :)

(I don't have a card bigger than 4GB besides the Eye-Fi, unfortunately. So I can only compare '4GB SDHC CHDK working' to '8GB Eye-Fi CHDK non-working'.)

Good point.  But as reyalp did the D10 port,  it seems completely impossible that it does not support dual partitions.   And if it didn't, I'm pretty sure that would be noted here : http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/D10

Cameras without dual partition support were released after 2010 and don't need it  or they are partial ports done some time ago and never really completed.

Update :  I know its painful to use,  but you might want to try the forum search engine looking for "eye-fi".  There have been several threads created about using those cards.
