Yes, dual partition works. I typically set up multipartition cards using gparted.

However, I seem to recall others having trouble with partitioning eye-fi cards. I've never owned one of these, but as waterwingz suggests searching the forum may find you some useful information.

You can also start manually using the 'firm update' option from any card.

I got it to work now. When I ran into permission problems with my Window 7 64 bit AND then switched to my Linux server -- I must have missed a step.

CHDK boots fine now, thanks for the assurance!
