Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, I see that tv bracketing works from a script, and with continuous timer, but I can't seem to get it to work with custom timer. I am able to do it on one of my other cameras, but if I try it with my D10, it doesn't change any exposures, the three pictures are all the same. So, does tv bracket with custom timer just not work yet?
Thanks,
Dan ???
This should be fixed in autobuild 960. Thanks for catching it.

Added USB remote support in changeset 963.

I think this port is mostly complete. If there's anything not mentioned in the notes that is missing/broken, please let me know.

Added support for fast MD changeset 982. I haven't verified the speedup, but probably right based on other cameras.

Realized I hadn't implemented this after I got cold and wet setting the camera up outside in a thunderstorm  :haha

Hello great to see a port for this camera. I am about to buy the d10 to use on the beach etc but want to do HDR with it specifically when i cant bring the dslr. Where do things stand with Auto Exposure Bracketing? Its imperitive for me that this works or its a no go . Looks like RAW format is working nicely. Thanks in advance for info.

Bracketing in continuous mode works. I had it crash some times with DNG enabled while bracketing, but I think this may have been the old slow SD card I was using for development.

You can also do pretty much any sort of bracketing with scripts.

Thanks reyalp for the quick response. Can I trouble you to get more info for scripts on bracketing. I dont code much but work with scripts all the time. I am looking to get 3-5 exposures with atleast 1EV spacing but preferr 2-3EV spacing. I want the bracketed shots taken in a continuous\auto mode. I could pay a small fee. thanks in advance.

You don't need a script to do basic bracketing in continuous mode:
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_User_Manual#Bracketing_in_continuous_mode

For script information you can look at the scripts category for examples:
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Scripts and also the scripting subforum: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?board=7.0

Information on scripting commands can be found at http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Script_commands

I am completely new to this. I just purchased a D10, hoping to take advantage of this software, and I find that I have the GM1.00B, Adj. ver. 004.001 firmware. I assume that this means I am SOL, but are there any pathways for me?

TIA

You can try the 100a firmware. Sometimes the changes in canons firmware are so small that a new CHDK version is not needed.

If it's not compatible, the most likely result is the camera will crash immediately at a startup, which makes it look like it hasn't started at all. To get it to boot again, you may have to take the battery out. As far as we know, no one has damaged their camera by running the wrong CHDK version (but of course there's no guarantee for any use of CHDK, whether it's the right version or not!)

If the 100a build does not work, then you should get a firmware dump. I suggest using the canon basic dumper http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Canon_Basic/Scripts/Dumper

Information on how to prepare the card and run the script can be found at http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Canon_Basic

If you get a dump, I will be able to add support for 100b, but it it may not happen quickly. If you are a programmer and want to do it yourself, see http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Adding_support_of_a_new_firmware_version
