My camera = sx20is 1.02b

Earlier i had a Sandisk 2GB SD card..i formated it thru card tricks and loaded CHDK with the available working scripts and all works fine.

But now i brought home a Sandisk 8GB SDHC ExtremeIII card and partitioned it with SDM one with 2MB FAT12 and one with the remaining GBs FAT32. I again installed CHDK with the extra working scripts (scripts copy pasted in scripts folder manually).
But when i press ALT+FuncSet to load script from file i only et to see Up dir and no scripts ..which leaved me helpless and am not able to use the additional scripts...please help me if this is a known issue...how do i get the scripts showing upa again so i can select and use them!!??

The CHDK folder and scripts need to be in the big partition. Only DISKBOOT.BIN needs to be in the small one.

Yes, just copy the CCHDK.CFG file from the CHDK directory. You could also copy the whole directory if you want your scripts etc as well.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
