CardTricks cant find the zipfile I just downloaded, Why?
or more important What can I do? Is there an other way to download the CHDK on the SD-card?

When i click on the "CHDK->Card" and go to the right folder the zip-file isnt there. But in the file explorer it is!.
This CHDK-stuff sound cool so... Please help a Newbie!

I have a ixus870IS if that helps.

Maybe you're supposed to unzip the file first, them point cardtricks to the file(s)?

I was just facing this problem today.

In my case, the problem had to do with where the zip file was located.  I found that
it worked fine if I actually put the downloaded file on the desktop -- the first place
DOS looks for files.

Eventually, I got it going, and hope you will, too.  Please keep us posted.
