MD5 begins with 88b8669 :-

Format card first and make bootable.

I have enabled the constant redrawing of the graphical user interface (gui).

Hey, we have got a camera that is trying to run SDM !
It opened up with a flash of 1.8? with the view on the LED screen with the menu for SDM.
I was able to zoom & focus & take pics. The screen had the SDM icons up.
The camera would not shut down so had to open batteries.

You are going to let me go while I'm in camera land :-)

How different have you set-up this, from what you would have mormily had ?
Would this work in the other S5 cameras ?

It already works in other S5IS cameras, just not yours !

I will now test this version in my camera and see if I can turn the camera off.

EDIT

No, I cannot and the menu are not displayed.

I will fix that and upload a new version ... later or 'tomorrow'   ?

If I had an S5IS, debugging would have been easier.

Hi David
Yes I was able to boot & shutdown, sometimes in Play sometimes in Record.
Zoom & take pics for a few times then finally would not boot again.
