I am very suspicious of your memory cards.

Anyway, we are closing-in on the problem.
I have time to enable two more bits of code.
I will upload in a few minutes.
In the meantime, format the card and make bootable.

This try went 1.84 crash.

That is surprising.

To make absolutely sure, please try previous version again :-

MD5 starts with 61197eb :-

That does not make sense.
You previously claimed that it worked fine.
There is something very unstable about your system.
It cannot be SDM, you tried that version previously.

Remove the batteries and reformat the card.

Put another unlocked card (any card) in the camera and turn on and then off.

Then try the SDM card again.

You are using the PREVIOUS version I referred to, not the LAST version ?

Then this whole excercise is pointless.

One day it works, the next day it does not.

Have you made sure that DISKBOOT.BIN is the only file on the card each time you try a new version ?
