Powershot A530, USB trigger on falling voltage not working?

Hi!

I have tried CHDK (latest release for the A530) and enabled USB remote trigger, and synch trigger. But the camera still took a picture immideatly when it got voltage on the usb-trigger.. not on the falling voltage.

So I got the tips to try SDM-release, I downloaded and installed on camera, enabled remote trigger, voila, it worked with falling edge at once.

Do I need any extra-script or something to get regular CHDK to work with falling edge trigger?
It works in SDM like I want but i cant seem to adjust the ISO settings / other stuff I want to fiddle with..

Test build with USB remote hook enabled. This was disabled for no obvious reason in r416.

Tests:
Plug test (or actual remote switch) per with "remote sync" enabled per https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Testing#USB_Remote

ndtest.lua to check hook

(edit: bad test build removed, correct changes checked in https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=13228.msg141134#msg141134)

Don't forget what the H stands for.
