I have a Canon Power ShotSX10 IS firmware 1.01A.  I loaded CHDK using card tricks, when I turn the camera on I get the splash screen and am able to access the CHDK menu.  However, I am unable to get to the record mode. Every time I turn the camera on in the record mode it goes to the play mode and I unable to get to the record mode.

Hold the power button down for about a second, or half press the shutter after the camera has started in play mode.
