Would extension for PowerShot A3400 work with A3500?

Was looking to get Canon PowerShot A3500, but it is not listed here: http://mighty-hoernsche.de/ . Only A3400 is. In this list here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_PowerShot_A, all of the features are exactly the same between the two, only the 3500 was added WiFi and GPS via mobile. Would the extension work in the later model?
