I found some Scripts on CHDK Wiki, but when I type the script in my notebook and change the file extension name to lua, the camera doesn't run the script.

Since I don't know how to write script, I think I did something wrong. Can anyone give me a lua file to download and load in my SD780?

Thank you.

Plus, if you can attach a lecture about how to use it, it would be great too!

Attached to this post you'll find some Lua intervalometer scripts to download directly;
just store the .lua files in the \CHDK\SCRIPTS folder on your SD card: --> http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php/topic,5151.msg50515.html#msg50515

Read also here for CHDK scripting, for Lua scripts you'll find more informations here.

CHDK scripts are
  • plain text files, no MS Word, Wordpad or similar documents; use a simple text editor, e.g. Notepad or Notepad++ on MS Windows.
  • save the text files with ANSI encoding (NOT unicode !)
  • for uBasic scripts, use .bas as filename extension, for Lua use .lua
