USB Remote on Canon A530

CHDK loaded succesfully to my Canon A530 and I enabled the USB remote.  I loaded the remote.bas script to the script folder.  (The one on the wiki)

Code: [Select]
@title Remote button
while 1
  wait_click 1
  if is_key "remote" then shoot
wend

end

However, when I apply 5 volts to the USB (I checked the wiring, it's all correct), all the camera does is autofocus.  It doesn't end up taking the picture.  Any help would be nice.

Make sure the camera is in a mode that will let it take a picture under the available lighting, rather than just focus. I've had this happen to me when testing in a badly-lit room with the camera in Manual mode.

Hello & welcome, Cyber_Monkey !

all the camera does is autofocus.
--> Set up the Remote Parameters in the CHDK Scripting menu to your needs...
