I've been experimenting with 8Gb cards on PowerShot SD1100 IS, and I've been able to get it to load from one partition using the firmware update method, but it can't run scripts from file, I just need it to run an intervalometer. Is it possible to make the intervalometer the default script?

I'm not sure what you mean.

If you load with PS.FI2, the size of the card is irrelevant. If you are having trouble running scripts, it is some other problem. If you have set a script to autostart, it should run when you load the FI2.

If you multi-partition a card, then the scripts must be on the main (large) partition, not the small one with diskboot. But sd1100 port does not support multi-partition.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Solved it. Apparently I loaded it wrong. I went to http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/SD1100IS and it answered my questions.

Thankx.
