Hi There,

I just installed CHDK and it looks great.  I'm using the 780is which I'm not sure is a stable build yet.  Just playing around with it, I'm finding that it crashes on some basic scripts.  If I start the metronome script from the sample, it crashes as soon as the script starts.

I get to "press set to start"
I press it
I get "press menu to end"
then the camera goes totally dark and if I press menu nothing happens.

I reformatted the card and reinstalled everything and I'm getting the same result. 

I seem to be able to use the TV Mode universal script in the sample scripts.

Any suggestions?

Maybe a problem (wrong address ?) with the play_sound command...

In the script, comment out line #28:

old:
   play_sound (4)
new:
   -- play_sound (4)

If the camera crashes again, there's another problem, e.g. with set_led ...
