I'd love for the camera to be able to auto focus while in movie mode.  I've got an SD1000, and it appears to focus only once, then stays at that focus point no matter if you use the zoom.

The juciphox build already has an assignable shortcut key for forcing autofocus in movie mode. You don't want automatic auto focus while movie recording. From the fact that you can zoom during video record I'm guessing you're using juciphox already. Or can the SD1000 do that without CHDK? Most cams can't.

But this thread really isn't a feature requests thread. It's for discussing the poll I think. You should be creating new threads for new requests (after searching for old ones to bump, of course).

A much slower Zoom speed, when taking video.  Slow enough so the autofocus can keep up.

As mentioned in another thread, it'd be great to have selectable AF points. Unsure if it is possible though.

My first digital P&S years ago had it.

I would love to see a Firmware hack that would allow audio recording on the new 5D a la 1D series cameras - especially now that the mic is built in

It would be nice to have a timer shoot  to make  stop motion,  set the interval between pictures until the card is full

Timelapse with variable shutter speed
CarLapse - LUA Script for timelapse out of a driving car
My tweaked Ultra Intervalometer (v1.02)

Just to name a few. Theres a nifty thing called search function, and in case you're not a native english speaker and didnt know about the terms "timelapse" or "intervalometer", there are plenty of online translators to find something like that out.
