The "Noise reduction" ("Dark frame subtraction" in newer CHDK versions) is a generell setting;
I assume lightfusegetaway is asking about the actual noise reduction the canon FW does, especially at high ISO.

Right, the noise reduction used for any exposures below 1 second and at higher ISO. I almost prefer the noise "grain" over loss of detail.

I beleive the poll item: "Save RAW in DNG format (similar to previous request)." has now been done and can be crossed off the list?

I would love to see it replaced with "Save 1+hour of audio using existing onboard codecs". The feature I really miss from my Pentax Optio S4 is that you can hold doen the power button for 2 seconds, then it goes into audio mode. Then you can hit the shutter and it will record till battery runs out - with display off that can be hours! It is so super handy for recording lectures or presentations or meetings. Sure, the onboard mic and the audio quality (8khz PCM) are not great, but for recording voice conversations it doesn't matter, and hey - I have a Dictaphone/voice recorder in my pocket! Not all that many MP3 players have this option - at least not the MP3 players I know/own, so it is not simply a matter of "use a more apprproate/readily available device". And the clincher is that my Canon camera can already record audio, but the voice memo is cut off at 30 seconds, and the video comes with much larger file sizes and battery drain. So surely it would not be hard to extend the voice memo length, or make an option to record video at is 1x1 pixels and is black.

Note that you can actually get quite close to this with the video compression overrides on many CHDK cameras. In my testing (on an A540) ISTR the AVI file was only about 2x the size of the audio channel as a WAV.

I would like something to display the color temperature/white balance point that is being used.  So I can select a gel to make the flash match it exactly.

On many forums, photographers have been crying about "exosure to the right", a kind of light measuring, which would ensure that, no matter what, no channels are oversexposed (or very small percentage of pixels). Wondering why this feature didn't find it's place in this "wish list" since start of this thread

So we have a histogram which reports if highlights are blown with red dot, we have a possibility to control exposure compensation, I think nothing more is needed except a simple loop in the code (well, almost) ....

Is it possible to have several flashes for one picture?
Is it possible to save a manual white balance setting?

I think these options could be great and could have a lot of different practice uses.

60i@720, 24p movie modes,double exposure settings,and maybe some kind of blue tooth dohickey coming out of usb or A/V out in camera so with a blue tooth usb in your computer or tv, photos would be seen immeadiately on your computer/tv up to 100 feet away, while i'm at it, wireless hdmi

I'm wondering, is possible to set external flash with shutter speed faster then 1/250s, im using SX10 and trying to do this from a long time, with internal flash it's working fine, i can take a photo at 1/10000 with flash, but with external flash shutter override doesn't work, and sets shutter speed automatic  to 1/250.
If is possible to do it, i want to see this feature in chdk
