Who wants to try focus peaking? (it's experimental)

That's why we have this page: http://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/issues

I'd like to see the G12 in-camera HDR (where it combines 3 images for you) implemented for the 550D.

In the description of Magic Lantern, it describes how the boot flag is set by running the .fir program.  But it also says that this boot flag change can be "reverted."  But I haven't found any description of how that would be done.  I would like to be able to change the boot flag back to it's factory state.  I understand that the camera is supposed to operate normally if you just use a non-bootable card, but I want to be able to completely remove any change done by ML, and that means undoing the boot flag change.  Does anyone know how that would be done?  Has anyone  actually done it?

Also, does ML provide the shutter actuations count for the T2i?

Method 1: magic.disable_bootdiskf = 1 (in config file)
Method 2: with this build, turn autoboot off from Debug menu: http://groups.google.com/group/ml-devel/msg/f4b6ffddba3870d0

You will also want to clear all camera settings (otherwise you may have the Kelvin WB setting left or something similar).

Shutter count: yes, with MENU->DISP.

Thanks very much, Alex.  That should do the trick.  So if I have to send the camera in under warranty, there won't be any indication that ML had been installed.  Is that right?  And just to really pin you down, have you confirmed that the two methods you listed actually work?

Well, I can't seem to get there.  I've tried three versions of ML, and don't see any shutter actuations value anywhere.  When I press Menu, then Disp, at the bottom is the date and time, but that's all.  What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone help with this?  The camera is a refurb, and I just want to know how many actuations there have been since manufacture.  Is there a way?

Edit: Never mind.  I found a February version that worked.  But apparently this isn't working in the latest version.
