Hi. I have a Canon SX20IS with a external flash (Metz Mecablitz 48 AF-1). The only AF-assist beam that i can use is the one built in the camera. Is there a way of adding a chdk option to force external flash AF-assist beam? I know that one of the hotshoe pin is dedicated to this function, and when half shutter is pressed a 3.5V is injected in the pin triggering the AF-assist beam.
