I  feel a bit slow but how do you make the grid file into a FUNCTIONING .grd file.

I am on a Imac and Canon A720is.

I opened  an existing .grd file which worked in my camera with TextEdit, pasted in new information, did a "save as" with a new name and .grd extension. But it doesn't work back in the camera.

Thanks for the info. I tried it but it's still no go. I wonder if the grid gurus could not post their .grd files in a ready to go, downloadable form so dummies like me could just go "click"  and have that wonderful "ahh..." feeling.
