I'm looking at making a stereoscopic camera with a pair of Canon SD1000's I've read the USB shutter button remote posts but I can't see anything that mentioned using the USB connection between two cameras to control both cameras with one set of controls.

Has anyone tried that yet?

Hello and welcome !

Someone has done that by blinking an led to send data to a microcontroller that then sent data to the second camera by modulating the USB +5V supply.

He actually sent me a sample device but no further work has been done or published.
