Okay, here is the first try of a 1.00B port:

1.00b users, please test if this build is starting up on 1.00b A3000IS cameras.
I dont have 1.00b camera, so i cant test it.

EDIT: Deleted attachments, version is not booting.

Hi ERR99,

Just downloaded and tried.

Still it didn't boot.

What I did -
Format card with card trick and set as bootable then copy the file into SD card manually.

Method used to bootup

#1 - Locked card then press on -  FAILED
#2 - Unlocked card , press Playback button > Menu > Firmware Update - FAILED

Anything I did wrong ? 

Can you provide the md5sum for this file?

I'm sure I download and overwrite the old file but just in case.

Thanks ERR99 for working hard on this firmware!
Tried the files on my 1.00b, same result as lithoc.
Downloaded the files, used card trick, copied files + CHDK folder from the A2000. Camera sees new firmware, but when executing it goes black.

Okay, thanks for the test of 1.00b.

I tried to port everything in one shoot, but obviously, i missed something. ;) So i have to recheck and verify the 1.00b port changes.

Okay, i found two bugs in the 1.00b port.
Lets give it again a try, here is testbuild #2 for 1.00B cameras:

Promising! The 1.00b is accepting the firmware and seems to work.

Set A3000 to save Raw (.cr2), files around 15 mb created, DNG option also works, but remember to set mosaic type right (see below) in DNG4PS2 converter - if not all files appear pink/red.

I noticed that the A3000 creates Raw/dng folders with date 1/1 2000 and do not know if this is right. JPEG folder has the right date.

RAW is okay. But you need to choose .CR2 to be able to download them from camera.

Thanks Ursus82 for the A3000 DNG4PS2 profile. Tried it, and I can confirm I also got this external raw-> dng conversion to work with A3000is ver 1.00b.

Addition: In DNG4PS2 in mosaic type, choose "Green, Blue, Red, Green" instead of default.

Now it is time for some capture and testing!

Very good, i updated the in camera DNG development parameters with the one posted above and the changed mosaic type. No the DNG colors looks much better. ;)
