Waldo,
My camera overexposes as it takes too slow shutter speed.

Night shots seem almost like day and light points are clipping.
:'(

I did ran CHDK on S95 and did not notice any modification in camera behavior after that. The worst thing I had was freezing the camera when running some capture script.

Can you post an example picture, with exposure data ?
Would also like to see what is going on.

Sorry if you have any problem, I hope it's not caused by CHDK (I also think it is not).

where have you bought your S95 with 100E?
I live and ordered it in France, but the seller is an "agency" of a german shop.

Hello Waldo,

It was not due to the chdk. It was the camera the was malfunctioning. I went to a service pint and they told me the camera has a production fault.
It had nothing to do with chkdk.

A go a new one and tried the chkdk software without problems.

Keep up the good work!

Johan

What is the highes actual shutterspeed that the S95 can handle with chkdk?
Did any of you try?

Sorry, the exposure overrides are not working yet.

Waldo thanks for all good work!
You are doing something I have no knowledge about at all.

Sorry for my ignorant questions, but can the dumped firmware files be used to load as firmware in the camera?
If so, how and what can go wrong there?
Is it possible to change the firmware file (text) and use it or does it have a checksum? :o

Can you add a link to the latest version of your port in your first message?
That way we don't have to go through the whole thread to find it.

Regards,
Johan

Practically speaking, no.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

I got the zebra mode to work, but then I added PTP support and it went away again.  Zebra seems to be sensitive to low memory issues so maybe it's related to that.

I implemented PTP, but I could not get it working under Windows.  Other people have had problems with PTP and Windows, so it's hard to say where the problem lies.  If anyone wants to try PTP, I can upload a new build, but PTP is the only change.
