Would be nice to see if the Screen Lock/Unlock is the same as in ixus1000 to get rid of that annoying CHDK menus flickering and random disappearing.

Great work waldo!

Here's another new version.  Changes are:
  * Zoom in scripts works (but Canon zoom indicator may not be correct until zoom is changed manually)
  * Some overrides work (but I'm not convinced they all work yet)

Here's the link:

Waldo you really did great job ! Thank you so much.

Just tried zebra mode, shutter speed, aperture and ISO overrides, everything worked.

Please people, do not take that as granted, I only tried in manual mode with obvious settings like:
- device set to 1/1000s override 4" : OK (originally underexposed ==> overexposed)
- device set to 2.0, override 8.0 : OK (orinally underexposed ==> totaly underexposed)
- devide set to 400 ISO, override 1000 : OK (originally clean ==> overexposed)
Did not try braketing modes, since I don't know how to use them in first place.
Will add more information if I find more time.

Thanks.  That's actually more testing than I did on this version.  Please let me know if there are other overrides that aren't working yet.

With this last version (3) I finally have the firmware update option, but I can't swap partitions.
It is not implemented yet? Just checking

Nope.  It's still on the "doesn't work" list as seen here:

Hi Waldo,
I tried the zoom script again with version 3.  It still hangs the camera.

Must be more of a intermittant problem than I thought.  It seems to work well for me.
