@Waldo, can you post you latest sources?
Im working with the ixus1000, and it shares most of the code with s95 so I will help,
I changed in ixus1000 boot.c to new hooking style

In your v2 , the latest sources I have from s95 you use the old style.

The only significant change relative to the previous source is related to implementing multiple partitions and that code is identical to older cameras.

My port is derived from CHDK release 0.9.9-938.  I don't intend to track every new change in the trunk until the remaining issues with my port are resolved.

Yes, me having the time to do it   :)

Once the S95 source is uploaded to 'trunk' I will be able to start work on it.

Quite a few people seem interested in a SDM build for the S95.

Canon seems to change their firmware often - I just bought 2 brandnew  S95 and both have a different FW version: its 1.00H

I dumped the memory using Canon Basic dumper - the dump can be downloaded here:

any chance to port CHDK to firmware 1.00H too?

trying to do shutter over ride. Seems ineffective, its enabled but i can't get exposures longer than 30seconds still. anyone else have this issue?

yes, I wasn't able to shoot at longer than 30 secs or so, not shure what's the actual limit but I noticed it didn't respond to my override farther than 20-30 secs...
