Use override parameters in EXIF data

Is it possible to set the override parameters in EXIF data so that photo are tagged correctly?  Example:  If I do a 60 second exposure using override, the EXIF data will have the non-override figure (15 seconds or something else) instead.  Is this an area that can be modified?

Which camera ? On some cameras this is already correct, depending on camera shooting mode and which override you are interested in. (On some cases, it can record the override value even though it wasn't actually used by the camera...)

Usually the canon "maker note" is more likely to be accurate than the regular exif.

CHDK doesn't write directly to the exif. Whether the camera records the override or not depends on how the override was hacked into the the shooting sequence, and this varies between cameras.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

SX20.  Sorry I didn't mention that earlier; I thought the functionality was similar across different models.  The override used was shutter speed for long exposures.  I was comparing results afterward & noticed the disparity in the EXIF data.  Using sx20-102d-0.9.9-933-full.
