Can you describe how this works?
I assume the purpose is to allow autobooting from a small FAT 16 partition while still allowing use of high capacity cards with a FAT 32 partition for image storage.
Does it require a lot of user intervention or can the camera be auto-booted and partitions swapped automatically?
(My A650 is presently out of my hands for the the "light leak" recall)

PS.FIR is missing in a 33 version I've downloaded. Should I use the same PS.FIR from the 31 build ?

For DryOS-based cameras this file is useless.

I have a 720 IS, so I make SD bootable, copy just DISKBOOT.BIN , lock SD and power on ?

I've got confused because in allbest-a720-100c-31.zip there was a PS.FIR

if your SD card was made bootable before, you can only copy the DISKBOOT.BIN and lock the card. You don't need PS.FIR anymore

Ok. thanks. I'll try it as soon as I get home.

Funny thing that of locking the SD to make it bootable (beside writing the first sector) and that you can write on it anyway.
