Countdown Intervalometer v1.1

An intervalometer script that will take a specific number of photos.

In the CHDK Script menu there are two parameters you can change. The first is Interval in Sec and the second is Number of Shots.

If the Number of Shots is set to zero the intervalometer switches from a countdown intervalometer mode over to a perpetual intervalometer mode that will continue to take photos until your memory card is full or your camera's battery runs out of power.

The script doesn't use any propcase values or camera specific settings so it should work with any camera that can run CHDK.

You can download the script here:

A Forest in Shadows Time-lapse
A youtube clip of a time-lapse made with the script:

Canon Powershot with CHDK live view of Time-lapse creation
A youtube video showing (accelerated) live video output while the script is running:

Here is the page for more information about the script:

If you are planning on recording a long duration time-lapse sequence you may find the Canon Powershot Accessory ACK-DC10 interesting. It is an AC power adapter that powers the camera.

P.S. This is the first time I have tried posting a message with a youtube link. For some reason, when I just write in the URL for a youtube video, the youtube player is embeded twice in the message. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Place the link between [ noembed ][ /noembed ] tags (see also: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php/topic,3906.0.html)

Using the "Insert Flash" button also works.
