Not much more I can say. On my Windows XP machines all I have to do is double-click jar files to run them. As fe50 says, what that does is use the Java(TM) Platform SE binary. Both java and the JRE are build 1.6.0_20

I note that the zip is a bit messy - it has some redundant Mac OS stuff in it - I'll clean it up.

Hate to spoil the game folks but there is no "open With" when .jar file is right clicked. Any other application file on my PC does give an "open with " option so I am still stuck. I will await the cleaned up file as things on my PC seem to be OK.

Hi silver88 - send me your email address and I'll send you the java class files and a bat file to fire Acid up. I don't have Windows 7 so I can't do any testing here but the class files method should definitely run.

PS Alternatively, go to "Run ..." and run "cmd" to open a command line window. Navigate to the folder with the jar file and then type:
  java -jar acid.jar
