Facts :
- Dedicated wifi modules for Canon and Nikon are VERY expensive - USD 750.00 to 800.00 (whew)
- DSLR's have 5 pin connectors (usually) used to connect to laptop and PC's
- USB wifi dongles are CHEAP ! (the 802.11 g or b or n variety)
Question :
- Is it possible to write a CF card script that will a) activate the WIFI dongle b) assign the necessary IP addresses c) detect and connect to predefined wifi networks ?
WHY would I want that?
I want to use DSLR Remote Pro to do tethered shooting without all the cabling and NOT break the bank.
Cheers and thanks for your replies.
