SX130 - Color pallete correct?

SX130 porting thread slowly dies, since the port is complete. Nevertheless I'm not sure about colors.

In platform_camera.h we have:

Code: [Select]
#define CAM_BITMAP_PALETTE   7

But PALETTE 7 says for example:

Code: [Select]
#define COLOR_WHITE         0x01
#define COLOR_RED           0x1e
#define COLOR_GREY          0x1a
#define COLOR_GREEN         0x17
#define COLOR_BLUE_LT       0x10
#define COLOR_BLUE          0x14
#define COLOR_YELLOW        0x60

But in the "Draw colors palette" from CHDK menu I can see that:
- blue is rather 0xA2
- red is rather  0xA0
- green is rather 0xA1
- yellow rather 0x60...

And it looks rather like pallete 8. Am I missing something?

Probably not, it's rather difficult to know what the pallet should look like when the only camera you have is the one you are porting. If 8 is a closer match, we can change it.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

hi folks. i just got my SX130is and installed the CHDK for it, and i'm still figuring things out, but i can't seem to figure out how to take 3+ shots in a row (continuous mode), without having to hold the button down. i'm guessing that part would be akin to the time lapse function, but i can't find it, and i thought i remember having read somewhere, that this was a function on this CHDK build for this camera. if someone could help me out with this, i would be most grateful. i'm really excited about making the most of this camera, as every other one i've had has been a POS. thanks for reading.

You would do this with a script. You can probably find some burst shooting scripts on the forum or wiki.

I am unable to find any instructions on how to post a question.  "Reply" button seems to be the choice this evening.

I have firmware ver.  GM1.00B  On Wiki, I cannot find a CHKD for the 130, only the 110.  Yet, there seems to be a version of CHKD for the 130 that is discussed on this forum.  Where do I find the download so I can give it a try?  Thanks!

Perfect!  Thank you.

Where might I look for instructions on how to download this program/software to my computer and put it on the SDHC card?  I read a magazine article that was good, but not detailed in the process of actually loading it on the camera.  I did update my firmware with Canon so that I now have version C.

BTW, Target is selling the SX130 for $99 all week.  They had a good supply on Sunday.

Hello fellows,

I am new to CHDK and today I was trying to take a picture with higher shutter speed.

In Alt mode I entered to the "Extra Photo Operations" & edited:
Disable Overrides: OFF
Override shutter speed: 3200
value factor: 1
shutter speed enum type: Ev step

but pictures still at 1/2500
What I'm missing?

And actually can someone tell me sx130is hardware limits I search it and didn't find them?

sorry for my english and thanks in advance
