I read through your romlog file and maybe I am missing something but in the logs there are complaints about

"MotionVector.c line 337"
"Cache.c Line 118"
"ReadFDir.c Line 442"

Maybe I'm missing something but I cannot find those files on pastebin or those zip's you posted.

I just purchased an SX130 and wonder if RAW will be available once CHDK is finalized for this camera... Also, will a webcam mode be available, similar to the way it was in the old days with the PowerShot S50?

SX130IS is very popular camera even now in Poland, they're selling it in every electronics market :), I hope that CHDK will support it in short amount of time.

I think some CHDK geek should join this thread and make any progress - which is very sloooooow now.

Progress is not slowed, but stoped.

Until free memory problem is resolved there is no point to develop further.

I will try to write little canon basic script which will try to determine free memory without CHDK loading.

With this script we can compare free memory of various  cameras.

Hi

I tried a develop version sx130is-101c-0.9.9-1001.zip with the same result as other - camera crashed in capture mode.
Can I help with develop or testing?
Is it possible to create "lite" version of CHDK with limited set of  functionality?

I was wondering why builtin Canon menu was so slow under control of CHDK, and I think I've found a bug in boot.c in line 76. After changing this line to instruction found in firmware, menu is working as fast as without CHDK.

In addition I am now able to:
- boot camera in capture mode (hold power button until camera is started)
- switch to playback mode (even with photos on card) and back
- take a photo

Verified values in stubs_min.S using s95_source_v11:
- focus_busy: @FF9604B0 -> @FF95FD30
- zoom_status: 0xCE50 @FFAC4B88 -> 0xCE70 @FFAC3A9C
- canon_menu_active: 0x71F4 + 4 @FF97D6F4 -> 0x3034 + 4 @FF88E340, OSD is now working

Disabled components: games, calendar, text reader.

Enabled experimental memory allocation: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=5980.msg59128 - corrupts movie files.

Attached binary and patch against CHDK SVN trunk rev.1016
