@outslider: Did you manage to test build from reply #225?

@outslider Thanks, i'll give that a go, glad it isn't just me :) Although I previously used CHDK on my Canon Powershot 710IS and CRW worked fine? is this just a problem with later sensors?

@qoud
Yes, forgive me I didn' answer, I have used it and it works perfectly! Thx!

@ali555
I said - I believe:D I'm not sure, I've found this information somewhere before and I just started to use dng. Since it works, I don't care about crw;)

@outslider :D very pragmatic! Well at the end of the day, you've converted a crippled camera to something that is usable :) So a huge thank you to all who've made that transition :)

No, no, no, I've done almost nothing. All 'thank you' should be send to quid and others who made the CHDK aviable for SX130 users;p

That works perfectly, does anyone have any rough numbers on their number of bad pixels? I just wonder given the fact that I have dropped my camera in a river previously :) (Yes fully submerged, continued to take photos after with a waterlogged lens, then lens electronics when haywire and I believe CCD was flooded with water also. It's all fine now though :D ) I had 1500 bad pixels

Hence why I said all :p I wasn't going to mention anyone in particular in the hope of not offending anyone :) But quid certainly appears to have done the majority :)

Hi guys,
when I take a photo and use the minimal focal length, I get a photo which is very deformed in DNG format. The same photo is OK in JPG. Is it normal? I believe it is but I wonder how the camera works because if I reduce the deformation, then I have to crop the image and the image is smaller then. If the camera does the same, it has also to resize the image to 4000x3000px then.

@Pilda
It's normal. It's the same theme as if you work with small size of sensor.
It's much cheaper to eliminate faults by built in computer unlike better ((optical = lenses) or sensor) Hardware.
