"The cameras released this year don't require partitioning to work with large SD cards. They can boot directly off any size card."

Does this apply to SX130, which was release a little less than a year ago?

No, 2011 release cameras only.

Just for inspiration. I got a macro converter, two yoghurts, tape  put it together and I have something like "macro lens" for about 5 dollars overall. The greatest thing is,  the converter fit to the cup very steadily and the other cup fit to the camera also very steadily.

I will do the same with UV, GN and polarize filters. :)

How do you keep the joghurts on the camera? Is it just a friction fit?

Just to be clear.. joghurt=yogurt right?  So these are two yogurt containers taped back-to-back with a macro-adapter on one side, and your camera on the other.

You have what it takes my friend!  :)

Wow, I was on a trip to test the macro converter and it worked very well. Much better than I expected. I was able to take shots with very shallow DOF as if I had a DLSR. Really amazing, I recommend it!

Please, I need help with build in CHDK.
I want to do 10 long exposure shots (200 seconds each photo).
But I want the camera to automatically take these shots, one after another.
How do I get this, using CHDK?

This is for astrophotography.
Thanks for the help.

You could write a small, simple script - but this can also be done scriptless:

* set up the CHDK overrides you want (Tv override to 200 s)
  by default the camera will take a dark frame for each shot, this doubles the total time;
you can disable the darkframe subtraction from the CHDK menu ( user manual link )
* set up the Canon custom timer (from the Canon menu) to: time delay = 3s, number of shots = 10
* mount the camera (tripod), select custom timer mode, start the series with the shutter button
