I want to do 10 long exposure shots (200 seconds each photo).
But I want the camera to automatically take these shots, one after another.
How do I get this, using CHDK?
You could write a small, simple script - but this can also be done scriptless:
* set up the CHDK overrides you want (Tv override to 200 s)
by default the camera will take a dark frame for each shot, this doubles the total time;
you can disable the darkframe subtraction from the CHDK menu ( user manual link )
* set up the Canon custom timer (from the Canon menu) to: time delay = 3s, number of shots = 10
* mount the camera (tripod), select custom timer mode, start the series with the shutter button
Please, still need help.
fe50 said on page 50:
1 - set up the CHDK overrides you want ... - ok, I did it.
2 - set up the custom timer Canon .... - Ok, I did it.
3 - mount the camera (tripod), select custom timer mode, start the series with the shutter button - ** Where do I select the custom timer mode??
Because when I click to picture, it just makes 1 picture, does not do 10.
I appreciate if someone can help me.
