Ah, thanks for clarification! I cannot come up with a use case for that either. IMHO if one comes up with a use case in the future, then it still possible to add some code maybe.
Since there are many higher priority issues in CHDK IMHO, spending more time on decisions for this "Boot, then open door, still boot" issue one would be over the top.
But since I have not spend time on codeing on this part
, I've no right, I know... it is just ment as an advice to see CHDK move forward with limited resources.
