Cardtricks - "CHDK->Card" greyed out

Hello there,

I've got a nifty little problem. I'm trying to get into chdk and wanted to put it onto my sd-card.

Followed all guides letter by letter I have one problem.

I simply cannot click the "CHDK->Card" Button. I have a 16GB Card (has something to do with that?) that IS formatted FAT32.
Cardtricks is offering me to "format as fat32", so I did that too, with no success to my problem.

Maybe its a simple thing I'm overlooking ;)

Thanks in advance

P.S. Screenshot of cardtricks attached

After further reading... am I right that 16GB just doesnt work without repartitioning? I was confused, cuz cardtricks offered me the "format as..."

CHDK will only boot from a FAT16 partition.  And the maximum size of a FAT16 partition is 4G. So yes,  you do need to partition if you are using the "Card locked" method.  Using the firmware update method (if available for  your camera) will work fine from a full FAT32 partition.

I'd suggest downloading sdminste.exe from http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/sdm/file/common_files.zip and following the partitioning instructions labelled New SDM Install on cards 8GB or more from http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/sdm/quick.htm
