Since most of the spam seems to emerge from the Lounge Recycler Bin,
maybe the forum could be set up to auto-empty it ? Or do away with it
altogether and just feed everything deleted straight to the null device ?

The recycling bin is where moderators often move messages instead of deleting them. I thought users weren't able to see it (I can't until I log in)...if that's true, you've been given greater access than regular users I suppose.
