Hi, I've just installed CHDK (Small) on my SX200IS in order to do some astrophotography but would like to know what scripts and procedures are recommended for that purpose. For the SX200IS, CHDK gives me the RAW output capability and a range of exposure times beyond the standard 15s limit (I've been testing at 64s - TV64 on the OSD). I'd like to be able to shoot a specified (or unlimited) sequence of long-exposures (15s for the camera just mounted on a tripod here on vacation) up to 2min or more if I mount the camera on the Vixen SXD mount that holds my telescope/CCD camera that I use normally for AP (with auto-guiding using my scope or just 'unguided' which means using the SXD guiding which is pretty good up to 2min or so). I'd separately collect dark frames and do the processing with my normal AP software.
I've noticed a bunch of scripts, in particular, lapse.lua, but since they seem to use the Canon standard exposure times, I'm wondering if they will work with the TV overrides from CHDSK, or override the overrides.
Thanks for any inputs you can give on this.
