Hi
I have now come along again to have another go with some different cameras.
I have one A570IS firmware 100e that I have loaded with a SD card with CHDK loaded.
I can turn the camera on in play or record & get the CHDK splash screen OK.
I have the 5 information bits are on the LCD screen, ie the memory, battery %, time, temperature & the bar graph on the bottom.
I have tried to press the print button to access the ALT function to get into the CHDK menu, without any luck.
The blue light does come on when CHDK loads but I can't seem to get it to access the CHDK menus ?
Can any one help Please ?

I have been successful in loading CHDK on to my S2IS firmware 100g & accessing the menu OK. So something went right there

I have other cameras to do too, but I am just going one step at a time.

You do have problems Colin, maybe you should stick to flag and sail making

After the PRINT led lights, are you pressing the MENU button ?

Thanks for helping.
I can't do sailmaking anymore, all my joints have worn out.
I can't even go sailing, cause I can't even hold onto a rope, which is a bummer.

Now this morning I fired up the single A570IS again & after a few presses the script & alt showed on the bottom of the screen & I could access the menu OK.
So it is 2 cameras done :-))

Now to load the pair of A570IS's with SDM.
Fingers crossed.

Oh yes.

But don't wait around, I have a few things to do before hand.
It will just depend if I don't wear myself out first.

In all seriousness, if you have problems with your hands it could be difficult to operate the tiny buttons.

Apart from that, you sometimes have to press them a few times or the Canon OSD's can interfere with the CHDK (and SDM) display.
